I'm a dad to twin boys, yes, that's basically my whole identity these days.

But before that, about 5 years ago, I was 30kg overweight. Eating the way we're told to did nothing to help. It wasn't until I started asking why it kept failing that anything changed.

Turns out a lot of what's sold to us as "healthy" is engineered to keep us craving more of it, actively harming our bodies.

So I went back to eating the way our ancestors did. Real fats, simple, whole, unprocessed food.

The weight came off in months and I looked and felt younger in my 30's than I did in my 20's.

That journey changed me forever, and I became genuinely angry with finding out what was really going into everything we ate, touched and used on our bodies.

It was alarming and skincare turned out to be even worse than food. Chemicals linked to hormone disruption, barrier stripping, chronic inflammation. "Natural" and "clean" labels slapped on products that were neither when you learnt to read the label.

It was actually my wife that started making tallow first. I was weirded out at first. But we'd already cut every synthetic thing out of our food, so this was really just the next logical step.

But then my brother tried it and his eczema patches vanished. My mum finally started using it and her cracked heels started to heal after a decade. My cousin's dry patches gone in 5 days.

And I knew that this worked, and I wanted to put this in the hands of families throughout the UK.
